Today in "small sample oddities", Guentzel - Crosby - Rodrigues... neutral zone specialists?
Over 1/3 of their shifts are starting with a neutral zone faceoff, which is really high, and almost no shifts start with a D or O zone faceoff.

Avs and Blue both kind of tread water for the first 40-ish games. At that point the Blues improved but the Avs took off.
Toronto plateaued mid-season, but still a respectable showing for the full season. Montreal climbed steadily, and posted the highest CF+/- of tonight's teams (and 2nd in both CF+/- and CF% overall last season).
Chicago's performance stopped sliding about half way through the season, but only enough to manage even play. Tampa kept the positive play up all season to varying extents (and obv. put in a strong playoffs in the summer).
