No! It proves it doesn't work. It's been 6 years & not one big company followed suit. Corporations will never voluntarily do the right thing.
Open Source isn't a business model, it's the commons: resources available to all individuals & companies to use, build upon and profit. Even if it's Amazon doing it.
OSS is about tackling complexity & driving costs down, via collaboration, in order to compete w/ incumbents.
By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.
